07/14/07 - Wow!, I've not written in a while. Well, I did Gettysburg Bike Week 2 days this weekend. Once with about 10 guys from the XLForum and once with a local buddy. I had a great time both days and found more ways to spend money. (Can anyone say new paint job?). Found Denise
(the gal I bought my Sporty from) at Appalachian Harley Davidson. All in all, a pretty good weekend!

05/06/07 - Went to Centralia with 4 folks from the XLForum. 1 883>1200 Conversion, 1 1200, a Guzzi, myself and a Mini (two of the folks were going up there one way ~ hence the mini.) Good ride, good folks. Got a few pics. Hope to post them soon.

04/22/07 - Today I went for a short ride with some folks from the XL Forum. We met up at the KOP Mall and left with about 15 bikes. Did the 60+ mile run to the Pine Barrens where we met up with the New Jersey contingent and did a nice 40 mile jaunt. Overall it was a 200+ mile day and a great day to ride. I saw a lot of cool bikes and got a lot of ideas.

03/24/07 - Got a 80 mile ride in today. 48* - 53* so it was a litte cooler than I like, and there was no sun, but overall, it was great to be out and riding. I went down 100 and then shot over to Media. Then back through West Chester and back home. Tomorrow is suppose to be 55* and sunny. See you on the road!

03/10/07 - Spring is here!!!! I got my bike out of storage this Saturday. I didn't get to ride much since I had a lot of things to do, but it's good to have it back. I'm putting my modifications on hold for a while. I just want to pile on some miles. I tore up the side lawn gettin it into the shed as the groud was still soaked from the snow melt off. Dammit, I gotta wash it already!

02/22/07 - NEW SUPPORTING VENDOR - Donscycleware.com. What is a 'Supporting Vendor'? Well, since I'm not a commercial site, they aren't a paid sponsor, but they are somone who has done right by me. I don't take this lightly, since I think that I'm putting my rep on the line telling you that these guys are OK. Don is one of those good guys. I've had a few dealings with him and each one was above board. Don offers leather goods aond other motorcycle stuff at some pretty amazing prices. Don is a supporting vendor of the xlforum. His pledge is 'to proivde excellent cutomer service' and he delivers.

02/03/07 - I'm happy as a pig in shit! I found Art, who was the old Service Writer at Smaltz's. He's now at Hannum's in Media. Art is a straight shooter who always took the time to answer all of my stupid questions. I know that I can get a straight answer from him. Now my dilemma is where I go for service. I was loyal to Smaltz's, but that's mostly because of the service department, and Art was a big part of that. Plus, he's a Sporty rider, so that's extra points in my book. I'll probably go there for some of my work and then see what happens.

01/06/07 - I took a big twin (Softtail Custom) for a test drive today. I'm not looking for a new ride, but my Sporty is put away for the winter and it was 70 degrees so I had to do something. I liked the ride, but if I were going to go that way I'd have to change out the seat and the pipes. Maybe if I was doing two up riding, I'd consider a move to a bigger bike, but this was more about just getting out on something and riding. Spring is just around the corner though, so I hope to be back on the Sporty soon.

12/21/06 - Site is launched but still under construction. I have the basic layout but I need to expand the navigation section and include contact information.
